Updated at the bottom--Reassure me!
Ok, so Christopher and I are going to a family dinner party tonight at a restaurant that starts at 7:30pm
DH can't go (is working a double shift) but my parents, sister, cousins and aunt and uncle will be there. But I am still getting slightly nervous about that time of night. He doesn't usually go to bed until 8:30-9pm, but still.
Ok...GO

Re: Reassure me!
I'm sure there will be lots going on to entertain him. I have faith he will not have any melt downs

Re: Reassure me!
I know that if there are lots of people around and in new settings, Claire can party like a rock star. She also crashes in the car ride home and sleeps in the next day. So, I think it will be great-have fun!

Re: Reassure me!
Anyway you could have him go down for a later nap?
I'm sure he will be fine. If he starts getting overtired towards the end of dinner you could always just pack it up and head home.

Re: Reassure me!
If he is REALLY bad (which I know he won't be), drop him off at my house.

Re: Reassure me!
You'll be fine - Christopher is really a go with the flow type of kid plus you have your parents. I would say leave him here but I am not sure if Amanda is contagious or not.

Re: Reassure me!
Ok...I already should give him more credit b/c he put himself down for a second nap at 3:15 and is still sleeping!

I think it will be fine, but I go with Cailen everywhere by myself at all times of day and night!

Re: Reassure me!
Well, we just got home!
He did awesome and was dancing with all of the grown ups to the DJ
It was a very special night for my family, and I am glad he was a part of it.
I will post pics tomorrow
