VENT! I am so at the end of my rope.
DS has some breathing difficulties. He has RSV, had the croup, sinusitis, etc. I have very nicely asked my neighbors to let me know when they are having their lawn & garden serviced as the fumes somehow make it into my house & affect DS (our houses are very close together and his room is on their side). Well for the last 2 days I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out where DS got a cold & if it was the a/c affecting him, etc. Turns out my neighbors had their trees sprayed & did not tell me. Now I know that I cannot keep them from landscaping, and I would not try, but is it so hard to give me a heads up so I can crank up the air purifier & shut the windows?
My poor little man has to go to the Ped now today b/c he is spitting up phlegm. They have kids too, I just don't get it.

Maybe they just forgot? But I would also remind them again. I can't imagine that they wouldn't understand. How easy is it to just knock and the door and let you know. It's not like you're saying that they CAN'T get it done, you know? He's been through so much. Hope it gets better. And hope he feels better

It's possible that their tree spraying company didn't give them advance notice and they weren't home when they came.
Unless you waive notification, tree sprayers are SUPPOSED to give you advanced notice. Mine, however, forgot to call last time and I was not at home when they came.
Sorry your DC is not feeling well.

Thanks all. I have reminded them several times. It is apparent to me that they are not concerned with it. One of the previous times I asked them I did mention that if the company is not giving them notice they can change that. She actually knows the day or 2 before. They just do not feel the need to tell us.
I hate living with the windows closed and the a.c. on all summer. I cannot wait to move.

Completely unacceptable. I'm sure they think the tree spraying doesn't affect their children so why would it affect yours.
Hate to say it but if you know the tree company, I would call up & explain the situation and ask for them to notify you if they spray in your area.
