It depends how much music/movies you want to keep on your. With the smaller version, you can't keep as much on all the time.
Verizon won't get iPhone5 for a while.
The first LTE phone "should" be out at the same time as well which I plan on getting FWIW

I also got the error and filled everything out a second time then it worked. Half an hour later I got 2 emails confirming 2 orders Luckily I was able to go in and cancel one. Got the 16gb because I have the 32gb iPod touch and have only used 3gb so far.

I want one, I think but I'm waiting til September since that is when I'm eligible for an upgrade. Hopefully that'll be enough time for any kinks to be ironed out.

DH ordered mine at 8am with no problem. He was eligible for an upgrade and I wasn't so, I used his upgrade.  The only bad thing about that is that when the phone comes, we'll have to go to the store (which I'm sure will be INSANELY BUSY) to switch the phone to my number. I'm really excited, though!

Does anyone know if the 16 has video chat? Or is it only the 32? Also, does the 16 work as an IPOD as well?
Obvioulsy I know nothing about this! I am planning on purchasing for my daughter and I, but DD is away at school and I would like to surprise her. How could that work? Does the phone become activated after it arrives? Would she have to be without a phone? Or do you activate after arrival?
If someone could explain the process I would be very appreciative

No... I just tried to check status and page unavailable... It does say overnight delivery but it also says it would be shipped on the 10th

As I have had an IPhone with AT&T for just about a year & half & DH has had his for two & a half years now I am going to answer some of the questions that I have seen.
Video Chat: Both (16GB & 32GB) IPhone 4's have video chat capability. However, it is a different plan, so you have to pay extra to use it & it only works IPhone 4 to IPhone 4.
IPhone 5: Is coming out this summer for AT&T & Verizon. IMO wait for the IPhone 5. I currently have the IPhone 3G & am eligible for upgrade now but am going to wait it out the extra couple of months & get the new IPhone 5.
16GB vs. 32GB: I can't really say what the difference is but I can tell you that I have a 16GB with: three full length movies, 500 songs, 1,250 photos, 80 apps, 6 e-mails accounts, 50 contacts, & 1 years worth of calendar entries, plus additional things that take up space. & I still have space to spare.
Someone asked if both 32GB & 16GB have an IPod & yes they both do.
For those who are waiting for new IPhone's: you will love it. It is not just a phone, its a way of living. DH & I both feel that it is the best money that we spend every two years.

To add to what she said (I've owned an iPhone 2g, 3g, 3gs and now have a 4)...the only difference between the 16g and 32g is MEMORY... if you plan on having alot of music/videos/pictures/apps on your phone (It has the ipod on it), then it pays to have the 32g.. imo
although I know people who have an itouch or older generation ipod that they use to hold their songs and usually listen from those devices and not their iphones...
The iphone is not just a phone.. I cannot stress that enough.. it's like a handheld computer right at your fingertips.. it's amazing!

mine for some reason had a tracking number for UPS- all it said was that it was in transit
