Re: Very painful diaper rash
DD is VERY prone to horrible diaper rashes. I've cried many times at the sound of her cries and watching her unable to walk from them. Baking soda in the bath helps tremendously. I then use a concoction on her at diaper changes - aquaphor, desitin max, bacitracin, and 2 tsp olive oil. I mix a batch in an empty container and keep it on hand. Also, let him air out without a diaper as much as possible. Let him air dry completely between diaper changes too. And no wipes. When she's red I don't wipe for pee diapers, only for poop. And for that I use wet paper towels.
