Vitamin D Deficiency
I had my 12-wk appt last night and they reviewed my test results and informed me that I have a Vitamin D Deficiency.
I was informed I have to buy the Over-the-Counter Vit D supplement (CALTRATE) to take with my prenatal. They said this was common in pregnant women.
I'm curious - what foods have Vit. D in them? My hope is to increase my levels naturally with food rather than a supplement if I can.
ETA: Name of supplement

Re: Vitamin D Deficiency
I had the same problem and my OB said food wouldn't be enough.
So I bought Vitamin D with Calcium.
I thought the sun played a roll in it too.

I am too. I was told that most of us are Vitamin D deficient. I just take a supplement.

Re: Vitamin D Deficiency
Yes most women are vitamin D deficient and especially in the winter months. I take one that is a liquid. . does not taste good but is super concentrated
