Was anyone told the wrong sex @ week 16?
We were planning on going to Impact to have a gender sono done @ 16 weeks bc we just can't wait until 20 when my doctor will do it 
A girl at work told me her doctor told her girl @ 16 and it is a boy!
Is this common? If so I guess we should just wait...lol

I was told boy at 16wk2d and it was accurate. Good luck!

we had "guesses" at 11w2d and 12w1d and then confirmation at 16w1d. Three different sono techs and all said  We have photo proof from the 16w sono and after seeing what we did, it's pretty obviously a

Well he was moving around more so they were able to get a good image of his "goods". In past sonos (though they were early), he was sleeping .. or just wasn't moving around much.
The OJ I guess just gives you a better chance that the baby will be more active so you could hopefully get a good shot! Good luck!

Wow, so far the results are 4 - wrong; 6 - right.
That's about 50/50. I could be 50/50 even without a sono!

i'm shocked so many people were told the wrong sex at 16w. I'm curious whether those people were told boy or girl, or if people are just clicking it for fun.
I've only heard of one mistake at 16w and in that case the sono tech wasn't entirely sure because the baby wasn't very cooperative so they knew it wasnt 100%
we got a money shot and could see his boy parts VERY clear.

DS1 - correct at 15w4d
DS2 - correct at 16w0d
As long as they can get a clear shot, you're safe at 15+ weeks. Anything before that is a little iffy.

I called the place and the man said he has only had 2 people in 4 yrs call to tell him he was wrong. But of course he would tell me that, right?

I went to Impact at 16w and was told girl, and it was confirmed at 17w, 20w, and 24w all by different sono techs.
