my dress was definitely an indulgence- but I LOVED it.. when else do you get to wear couture?! It was a lot of money, and yes-- I know it was stupid, but I certainly don't regret it. If I did- I would have to regret a lot of other things about the wedding.

I loved my dress and it was a Maggie so the price wasn't that unreasonable.

I loved my dress and it was expensive even though we got a chunk of the price taken off. There was one dress I wanted more but it was about 2K more than the one I got. Oh well.

I LOVED my dress- it looked great, was extremely comfortable and the price- $400 from Netbride- was amazing.

I wouldn't change a thing in regards to my dress- except maybe get a different Maggie Sottero. I fell in love with a bunch of her dresses.

I didn't spent a lot but I loved it! I actually tried on a sample at a sample sale...It had never been tried on before and fit perfectly with no alterations (luckily I was a size 6 which all the samples were!), just a bustle. and...they gave it to me for $100!

My dress was a lot (well a lot considering what our original budget was) and it was worth every penny!! I look back and feel that I looked exactly the way I dreamed. Cheezy, but true.

It helped that I knew I was getting all my alterations (including bustle), cathedral veil, fingertip veil and slip for FREE. It was a wedding gift. My mom's best friend (who was also at the wedding and been in my life since I can remember) is a seamstress. Chat Icon

My dress was $450 from netbride and I absolutely loved it! I lucked out that way....

Me too! Netbride was great and I loved my dress. Definitely don't regret getting a bargain that looked much more expensive.
My alterations (x2--first seamstress screwed up) and all my accessories might have cost more!

Mine was a little under $500, and I wish I had chosen something different, but not because of the cost.

I didn't hate the dress, but really wanted something simple and should have gone with a white bridesmaid dress. I was afraid I woudn't get something in time, so I got talked into the bridal gown with the train that I didn't really want.

My parents bought my dress for me. It was very expensive as soon as I walked into the store it was the first and only dress that I tried on. I liked where I got my dress because there was not a million dresses, they only have 2 designers in her store. But really... who knows if your dress was $ or $$$$$$$$$

Spent a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$.

Loved it and still do. I know people who dislike their pics b/c they regret their dress.

She should trust her gut.

And she could always try selling it on EBAY

I had a budget for my dress and to my surprise I ended up with a dress that was 1/2 the cost of my budget. I was pleasantly surprised!

I loved it. I guess it was a lot of money, not ridiculous, but expensive and I think it was worth it.

I have no regrets about my dress - I LOVED it and I still do. It was moderately priced. My mom paid for it - she gave me a budget beforehand which was more than fair for me.

My dress was definitely on the expensive side & worth every penny in my opinion. It was definitely not a dress anyone that knows me pictured me wearing, but it was perfect & extremely comfortable. Which is why I danced & spun in the dressing room before buying it.Chat Icon

My dress has been offered to several people if they needed one. Not sure if Maddie would wear it. Hopefully we're at least 3 decades away for that.

I do have a newer style picked out for my second wedding though.Chat Icon
