I thought it was great! What a way to start the wedding! I mean, it's a joyous occasion. What a fun bunch of people. I know my wedding party would not have gotten into it so much if we did that.

I loved it! And it made me cry just thinking about how much love was in that room for those 2 people. What a fabulous way to celebrate a marriage!!

totally agree! and i never really cry over stuff like this, but did tear up when they showed the bride!

I thought it was great! A bit long winded, but so cute. They look like a non-trad couple, and they made it their own.

IMO, I thought it was disrespectful. All churches, regardless of denomination, are places of worship- they are not clubs. Even if this was a fun loving, enthusiastic couple- they should still have respect for other parishioners & the important role that the church plays in their lives.
I agree. Also, I am not realy a fan of spectacles , even at receptions, but hey , it's their party.
The church is too much. Even if the clergy was ok with it, any dancing should be done on the way out, not the way in. You don't really have anything to celebrate yet.
I wonder what kind of church that was. The minisiter wasn't wearing any vestments.

I'm agnostic and not religious in any sense of the word, but even I agree with this. I found it ridiculous and not even entertaining.

Obviously it's not a catholic church. It could be methodist, baptist, etc...
It is OK in some churches to sing and dance.

Me too. I kinda think wrong place wrong time, and that's coming from someone who doesnt believe in religion.
I did not enjoy it either at all and am also not religious. I hated the song would have been funnier with some old house music or something. Not my idea of funny-but thanks for posting apparently a lot of people DO find it funny

I'd love to have been a guest at that wedding but honestly if I were a bridesmaid I don't know if I could've done that sober
exactly my thoughts, there would have had to have been a lot of champagne in the limo on the way there!

I don't kid! I would consider organized religion if it was this joyful and free. Just because you don't worship this way doesn't mean it's disrespectful. Their officiant obviously didn't think it was.

you're not the only one. honestly, i watched it and thought it looked stupid. brides today will always look for a way to be "different" but this just seemed dumb to me.
i guess as long as they're happy...whatever. but not my cup of tea at all.

Not a fan either - i'm not religious, but that had nothing to do with it. I'm not a fan of choreographed dances by the bride and groom at their receptions either.
The only time i could see that sort of entrance making sense is if the bride or groom are dancers, or in the theatre/arts, otherwise i think it looks too staged or forced.
but hey, to each their own

I thought it was a little too much for church. Yes it was fun and celebratory but I think there are other ways to do that which do not include throwing papers on the floor, the cartwheels and that spectacle right in front of the alter.

I'm not a tight@ss in any way at all...especially when it comes to religion but I thought it was stupid and totally inappropriate. IMO the bride looked like a fool dancing down the isle to that.
I just showed this to my dh and he said...if you're going to disrespect the church you should have some good dance moves...whip out some Chris Brown s**t.
