Great experience for him, and you guys. Is that sling still comfy?
Surprisingly it wasn't too uncomfortable considering he is about 22 lbs now... better than the Bjorn, which I feel kills my shoulders and back now!

I have an extreme fear of whales - I can't even walk by that room without breaking into hives.

Know what? My older stepdaughter has the same fear - I would love to show you the pic of her under it but it would freak you out - she dealt with it better yesterday, and even hung out under the whale with us - she just didn't look up!
There is a great little independent film called "The Squid and the Whale" and it's titled that ebcause one of the characters was also afraid on both at the museum!

There is a great little independent film called "The Squid and the Whale" and it's titled that ebcause one of the characters was also afraid on both at the museum!

I never rented that for obvious reasons. But that's so funny.
There was a contestant on jeopardy a few weeks back who has the same fear as well.
About 10 people called me to tell me to turn it on when they heard him talking about it.
I'm infamous in my circle of friends for this fear. They all think it's hysterical.
Even my 3 year old nephew will tell me when we are watching Nemo "Close your eyes Aunt Lauren, the whales are coming now."
I'm trying to get over it for DS' sake, but it really really freaks me out.

Great pics, that first one with you and Cailen in front of the whale is awesome, he has such an adorable expression, and you look great (your haircut really frames your face nicely!). It looks like you all had a great time! I love that he laughed hysterically at the bear!

Its a fun place, especially in the summer. They have this awesome fountain that the kids play in. PLUS I have a friend who works there, so I get free tickets if I ask.
