Weaning help!
Ok, so I've been slowly weaning Alex... I used to pump about 40 ounces a day, 3 or 4 times a day, and now I'm down to pumping once a day and nursing one time a day. My left side is pretty much weaned but my right is still going strong... I nursed Alex this morning at 6am, and haven't done anything since, but right now I feel somewhat engorged and it's uncomfy. Should I pump to relieve it, or wrap myself in a tight sports bra and end this once and for all? If I don't pump, will I get an infection?

Re: Weaning help!
I would pump, but just enough to take the pressure away. Do not, not pump because you may get an infection.
After you pump enough off, then wear a tighter bra. It should get better after a few days.

Re: Weaning help!
You need to relieve the pressure or you can risk a plugged duct..also use an ice pack on it..that helps to stop milk production.
