She has a lot of time on her hands and a bit out of touch with the reality of what is happening the week leading into Christmas, especially for full time working parents Chat Icon Chat Icon

LOL right?
Real life is NOT a Hallmark movie.
(thank GOD!)

I'm convinced she was watching Hallmark this past weekend!! Thats' what the family did the week of Christmas, brother and his kid, sisters family and grandparents. Love it in the Hallmark movie, in reality this woman needs a job or at least a hobby!!!

See and I thought every Hallmark movie went like this:

LOL, well that was pretty much the plot of the movie...this was just extra!!!

Re: Week before XMas Activities

Thanks girls! I mean the idea of it is really sweet, I just dont know if the time is there. I know not everyone (my DH is 1 of 5, all 5 are married and have kids) will commit the time to it.

And she loves Hallmark movies (who doesnt this time of year) and I can guarantee she got it from there hahaha.

I like the idea of the week AFTER Christmas

I have to be honest- I HATE Hallmark movies. I love Lifetime movies but I can't stand when they try to cross into Christmas themes either. No. It doesn't work.
And Hallmark movies are awful 12 months of the year but they kick it up to a whole new level of awful when they get into the Christmas movies.
Always the same plot- (see my meme above) :hah.
I just find them soooo boring and insanely cheesy and corny.

Don't get me wrong, I like a good Christmas movie- but there is something about Hallmark Christmas movies that I can't even watch one minute of.

I am the total opposite. I LOVE Hallmark movies. They are all insanely cheesy, coriny and predictable, but I can't get enough. I find them soothing in a way - I like having them on in the background as I do other thingsl

I am not a super big Christmas person either, I like the Hallmark movies year round.

I only watch Hallmark movies in the Christmas season otherwise they are WAYYYY too cheesy for me....but if I'm being honest with myself, is there really a difference between holiday and non holiday? hahaha across the board, its the same premise....exactly like NN's meme said hahaha. ALWAYS SNOWING AT THE PERFECT TIME!

I like Lifetime movies, not in the holiday season.
