Congrats on the losses ladies!
I am down 2 this week and now my total is -35.2! Got another 5 pound star to add to my book mark I keep on the fridge.
I am so happy with the loss since I was away for a few days this past weekend.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
You girls are such an inspiration. I don't know what's wrong with me. I keep falling off the wagon, yet I look in the mirror and blech I know I NEED to lose this weight (not just want to). I'm thinking I should really start going to the meetings instead of doing on-line. I need a buddy to do this with
I'm really trying to get back on the horse here...smart ones are on sale at Waldbaums this week. 50% off entrees (comes to 5 for $10) and I can't remember what the desserts were, but they were on sale too. I totally stocked up. I eat fine at work, it's when I come home. I know half the issue is that we're sharing a kitchen with my parents but I need a game plan!! HELP

We can talk more about this if you want. Not that I'm an expert, but it does help to talk to people about it and swap ideas.
I wish we lived in the same neighborhood because then we could go together.
My one tip is PLAN, PLAN, PLAN. You took the first step on stocking up on the Smart Ones. So, if one day you didn't have dinner planned out. Eat the smart ones instead of ordering. Or instead of just finding anything. Because that is when poor choices are made. Add some steamed veggies to the Smart Ones and you have a 7 point dinner, and the veggies cut down some of the sodium. Always try to take something out for dinner. If you can't get fresh veggies (I know for us they go bad before we get to use them), then get the frozen. Try to get them on sale. Also, I just bought the Ziploc steam bags. Throw fresh veggies in the and throw in the micro for 5 minutes and voila. They are perfectly steamed. For me it's all about being EASY. And there are so many things out there now that make it easy.
On Sundays, while Jack's napping, cut up your veggies and put them in ziploc bags. This way you won't say "uuggg, nothing to eat and I don't have time to make the veggies....etc., you know we all do that!). YOu just take them out and pop them either on the grill or the microwave.
Like I said, we'll talk more. Another tip that is KEY for me. I go to WW RIGHT before I go food shopping. So, I'm in the healthy mood and I take all of the tips and tricks and inspiration from the meeting and apply them to my purchases.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
So, I didn't get to go last week and felt "off" all week. I was still "good" so to speak, but something felt off.
Anyway, this week I was -6.2, for a total of 20 lbs.

Sure! I don't think you have to worry about sodium too much if your blood pressure is goo. I load up on salt and my pressure is always good.
Also if you make brown rice-steamed veggies and a meat that is a balanced dinner that is reasonaly low in points(about 6-8 points) For lunch I have sandwiches on WW bread. I get my cold cuts sliced thin so 2 slices is 1 point. if you like your sweets get WW desserts they are really good-my SIL also loves teh cookie crunch bars(ice cream) Godo luck. It really is a good plan and if you stick with it and write everything down you will succeed!!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
Ok. So My Mom and I decided to join again. We go to our first meeting on Monday.
We both did this for my wedding and I lost 40lbs then.
Now after having Andrew and eating like a pig I am up to 190
I really need to do something. I feel disgusting. And I am soo worried about DH. I hope he decides to come with us too. He ways practically double me
I eat healthy choice meals for lunch. I am so happy to see they give the WW points on the back.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
So I weighed in this week - up 2.4. I vowed not to stress it, it's that time to be bloated. Jumped on the scale this am and that weight is gone. So I'm clearing my mind and getting back opn track.
Congrats to all those "losers" out there. And good luck this week

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
OK - I didn't post last week because I was embarrased because I pretty much didn't follow WW at all last week and it showed - I gained three lbs -
This week - I vowed to try really hard - I went to the gym - I DID NOT eat at night after dinner - really kept to my points - and - even though I have my period....I lost 6.5 lbs!!!!! I hope I continue on the downward spiral!!! I lost a point though - darn!
