i had a c section , I had to take them out. BUT - I was going under anestesia for it. Not sure if that would make a difference

I didn't but i spent the night in the hospital and didn't put them back in. They didn't tell me I couldn't wear them

I delivered at LIJ and I wore them...but i never asked or told them I was wearing them, so im not 100% sure if it is allowed

I delivered in FL but yes I wore my contacts. Nobody even mentioned anything about wearing contacts... but then again I had a fairly quick labor/delivery.

I delivered at columbia and had a c-section and they made me take them out when they determined it was going to be a c-section.

Yup! I actually asked to keep them in b/c I hate wearing my glasses. I delivered at St. Charles.

No. Neither delivery (one c/s and one vbac). I delivered at Winthrop. For me, I didn't want to wear them, I was fine with my glasses, much easier since I don't sleep with my contacts in anyway.

Yes - both times....Huntington.
Although the second time, I barely had time to get changed into a gown. They weren't checking for contacts.
edited to add - v-births, both times.
When I had scheduled surgeries at Huntington that required anethesia, I had them out.

Both my babies were born in North Shore of Manhasset and I had my contacts in both times. Nobody ever asked me if I had them in.

I had them in, never even thought about it - my water broke and we rushed to the hospital. I was in labor for over 24 hours and eventually had a c-section. They were never a thought at all, until 48 hours later when they were still in!
I delivered at Richmond University Hospital in SI

I cant remember with my girls. I think I didnt wear them to the hospital b/c I hadnt put them in that day....
With DS I had them in and noone asked me to take them out...
He was born at St Catherines.
