Party at a friend's house very close to ours, but we'll still probably spend the night there. Driving, even taking a 5 min cab ride, on NYE scares me.

I am the only person who has NEVER done anything fun on NYE.
My overprotective dad never wanted me to go out and I was to good to fight that Then I married DH who NEVER wants to celebrate the holiday
I have wine, but he won't drink even if we stay in so a boring, uneventful NYE

DH and I found a cute restaurant across the street from us, so we are going there. We just moved to Frankfurt yesterday and I don't know if we will even make it up to 12 because we are so jetlagged.

Work till 12, come home make sweet and sour meatballs and mini quiche, pick up DD from school then go to SIL's house for appetizers/desserts...
We'll probably be home by 9 and lucky if we make it to stay up till the ball drops...
I feel so oooooollllllldddddd!!!

going out to a local bar with some friends....my IL's offered to watch our kids....whooo...my first night out in a year (exactly, the last time I went out was NYE 2008, I got a BFP the next day  )

I am the only person who has NEVER done anything fun on NYE.
You are not alone...my DH falls asleep around 8pm every night...he gets up around 4-5am...so most NYE's i sit with the dogs & watch the ball drop alone while he snores in the bedroom...someday i hope to go to Vegas for NYE...when we are there DH can stay up all night
