I drove 30 minutes each way to work until 2 days before my due date (which was when I stopped working) I dont see why you should stop driving as long as you feel comfortable continuing.

Im jealous!!!Chat Icon I had to stop driving a couple of weeks ago only due to the fact that me feet cant reach the gas peddle anymore.

As long as you can still do it, I would.

I think people are a little over the top with some of these anxieties. Drive. If you're in labor, drive to the hospital! Be extra careful as always but I don't think it's dangerous. Talking on the cell phone is more distracting.

If it was me...I'd keep driving. 20-30 minutes is not that bad.

How far is it from work to the hospital?

Worst case and you went into labor at work is there someone who could take you to the hospital?

Re: What are your thoughts on 3rd tri & driving?

Brief update:

I didn't drive today- to appease those who are dear.

The thing I didn't add to my original post is that AFTER I arrive in the AM, I circle the neighborhood for literally an add'l 20-30mins looking for a spot to park on the street. ( I teach at a school that is surrounded by coops and apts.) It gets pretty stressful as time passes and there are no spots opening up! Chat Icon

It was wonderfully stress-free to not have to do that today (and I got in earlier to get more done before the day started!) Chat Icon
