What could be wrong? (A vent of sorts)

DD seems to be teething on and off. Some days it really bothers her, others it doesn't. Well, today she is fighting her nap (she slept maybe 45 minutes) and now fought me through lunch. The food thing has been going on for days but today was the worst. I don't know if it's the age or teething or what?! She doesn't seem to be in pain with her teeth today. She throws everything on the floor and what she does attempt to eat, she spits out. She wouldn't even drink her milk just now. Chat Icon But then gets mad when I put it away? Chat Icon

I swear....I need a day to myself. I think I may crack. I get showered every morning, get dressed, do my hair and even put on makeup and it still isn't helping. No time away...ever.., no dates with my hubby, no going to dinner. I'm just burnt out. Chat Icon

Please tell me this is just a phase? I am fresh out of ideas of what to feed her. Chat Icon

Dana, I could have written this myself one week ago. FOr weeks DS was having the exact same problems. Come to find out that not only were his molars coming in, but he caught a cold and suddenly didn't fit into many of his clothes. Molars + growth spurt + tiny cold = a very confused toddler.

I wish we were closer together. We could swap kids for date nights. Chat Icon

OMG, I would love that...I wish too. Chat Icon

I just made myself some hot chocolate...I feel a little calmer. I gave her some Tylenol so hopefully that helps. She is shoving her hands into one side of her mouth for two weeks now but still nothing. Chat Icon

DS was doing it for weeks too. Even at one dr appt the dr looked at one of his molars and said 'Wow! That's the one bothering him. It will be here anyday now!'

That was a month ago and it's still not out. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

And about a week ago, another one came through. Chat Icon

I am one big bad habit...
but we always start off eating at the table together...I have the slowest eater in the world...once piece of rice, one pea...

once I am done eating, I flip his chair around and he eats the rest watching tv. his plate is clean after 45 minutes.

you know I am in the same boat as you.

I don't date my husband, I date my friendChat Icon she's my movie date, coffee date, brunch date

Leo has off sat and sun...lets meet for coffee or panara bread or something...the later the better for me...
