What did you/are you bringing to the hospital for baby?
I feel like I am packing for a vacation. I just keep adding more things. I have myself all set but not sure what I should bring for the baby. Outfits, pjs, pacifiers or nothing?

I only brought a coming home outfit for the baby. The hospital will give you everything they need.
I will say, I delivered at North Shore and hated the clothes they have for the baby because they are kimono style and just overall annoying to put back on the baby, so I would bring onesies if I have another child.

Last time I brought nothing, this time I will bring my own onesies and def a pacifier since the hospitals don't give them.

What did you/are you bringing to the hospital for baby?
I am packing his take home outfit, pramsuit (if it's cold) and/or blanket, and a few pacifiers. I heard some hospitals don't give them out anymore and they are small and light enough to throw in just in case.

What did you/are you bringing to the hospital for baby?
I might, might, might pack some small pieces of memorabila for first pictures too. Like a 'Born a Yankee Fan Baseball.' Definitely not going crazy, just one or two very small tokens that might be nice to snap a picture with.

Thanks everyone! When my dd was born, I didn't bring anything other than the take home outfit. Just wanted to make sure that's what most do. I heard about hospitals not giving pacifiers so I will bring a couple.

I packed a take home outfit, a little hat, socks and mittens. Two little cute onesies and one little sleeper outfit with a matching hat. Maybe a swaddle cause I suck at swaddling with the hospital receiving blanket lol. The first day I usually leave my boys in hospital attire but if I feel up to it the next few days I dress them. I'm having a c section on march 16th. So I planned on at least a three day stay. A blanket for the carseat.

 StonyBrook did 3 years ago when I had my DS. I hope they don't give me the look of disdain if I BYOP!

When I delivered there almost a year ago, I sent DD to the nursery on the second night and they gave her a pacifier then but only after asking me if it was ok.

going home outfit, pacifer and boppy. the boppy really came in handy during feedings especially after a c-section. i brought pacifiers cause the hospital uses soothies and i like the NUK ones.

North Shore gave my son one. But it mysteriously disappeared later on before I could take it home lol.

Only brought take home outfit with us. Had DH bring the boppy and an empty diaper bag so we could take home all of the diapers, chucks, blankets and formula.

I brought clothes to dress my DDs in while we were in the hospital in addition to the take home outfit. The hospital will provide diapers, but they don't provide wipes (just paper towels), so I brought (sensitive) wipes too. Also, if you order monthly stickers, they include a "just born" sticker, so bring that too if you have it.

Coming home outfit and definitely a pacifier and Pampers Sensitive Wipes. None of the hospitals I delivered at had wet wipes they only had the dry you had to wet with water which is fine except with meconium poop(was hard to wipe off my DS).
