What did your DH wear to DC's baptism?
I just realized that DH does not own a suit and the boys' baptism is this weekend. Can he get away with a shirt and tie or do I have to go out this week and buy him a suit?

he wore a suit, so did my Dad, BIL, Brother, Grandfather and all uncles.

It was too hot to wear a suit the day of DS's Christening. He wore a dress shirt and tie.

hes wearing a suit bc he bought one for a wedding last year (hope it fits!) so he can get some more use on it.
i know target has affordable ones if he is interested.

i agree. Most likely the other men who attend (even godfather) will be wearing a suit. He may feel funny if they are and he isnt.
My DH, godfather, father/inlaw, brother etc... all wore a suit.

He wore a suit...so did my dad and FIL...but a shirt and tie is fine in my opinion. We had many guests who weren't in suits.

DH will be wearing a suit, as will the godfather. I don't think anyone else will be wearing a suit to be honest.
Our celebration afterwards will be at a small hall near the church, not a big catering hall or fancy restaurant. Not sure if that makes a difference.

a suit that was too tight because somebody gained weight with me during my pregnancy LOL
He should probably get one. Always good to have one on hand for weddings or funerals.

My DH wore a suit but he has so many b/c he wears them every single day to work  Honestly I think your DH will be just fine in a nice dress shirt and tie.
Honestly Jenn...Even if my husband did NOT wear a suit I doubt any of our guests would have been like "oh the dad isnt wearing a suit!!" Know what I mean? As long as he's dressed nice - thats all that matters
