What do you and DH do on date nights, even if they are at home?

DH and I go on a "date" maybe once every two or three months. Its always the same dinner and a movie. Where do you guys do on date night?

And since we dont have many opportunities for dates.....what do you do at home (besides sex ) to have a "date night" at home?

We go out for dinner and then go shopping, usually we just window shop though.

When its at home, we feed the kids, put them to bed earl, then order ourselves something for dinner and we pay-per-view a movie.

We just started having date nights a few months ago. We've gone to the movies (UP in 3D... without the kids... ), we went to a Lewis Black show, we're looking into bowling or miniature golf soon. Went to Dave and Busters (it's much easier playing the games we like when DC aren't with us.... . When we go with DC, we have to play the games that they like, which isn't a bad thing, but it's nice to be a kid ourselves once in a while. )

We have been talking about a date afternoon. We used to love to ride our bikes and hike, but haven't done either together since DS was born. So we were thinking a bike ride together instead of dinner and a movie.

well when we are home we put the kids to bed and either i cook or we do chinese and watch star trek or a new movie!!

Ha, what are those? When the kids go to bed early and my dh can get in more World of Warcraft hours?

we used to make friday nites date nite when we were saving for our wedding..since we were broke..we would get a ton of cheeses and crackers and a few bottles of wine and a movie, and we would have cheese and cracker/appetizer for dinner nite..

we havent done it in awhile mostly because i was nursing, and not drinking more then a glass or two of wine, and he was getting loaded by himself and now im pregnant lol

but, we do lots of walks alone down by the water, monopoly nite *and he always freakin wins* sunday dinner with our bff's.

Usually we go out to dinner alone and meet our friends for drinks afterwards.

We don't really have an official date night at home, but last night we had sushi and watched Kathy Griffin.
