What do you pack for lunch for school/daycare?
I need ideas.
DS is incredibly picky and most of what he eats are warm foods like chicken nuggets, Mac and cheese and spaghetti. He will be going afternoons so I can prepare his food right before he leaves if I can find some kind of container that keeps food hot. Does anyone have something like this? I'm not sure if they have a microwave in the classroom. I have to ask.
What snacks do you send in? Do you send juice boxes or a sippy cup? DS will be 4 and hasn't used a sippy cup n a long time. Do they have big boy cups with straws I can send him with maybe?
The teachers said I could send in some new foods. Sometimes they are more likely to try something new at school, rather than at home.

My daycare warms food up for DS.. some things I send;
Bagel w/ veggie cream cheese
Turkey and cheese rolled up w/ wheat crackers
pasta-tomato sauce, alfredo sauce, mac-n-cheese w/peas, alla vodka sauce w/ peas..
I make diatlini macaroni w/ peas and carrots, butter and a little parm cheese.
Tortellini w/ butter and cheese (and usually a veggie on the side)
Chicken noodle soup (with very little broth)
chicken nuggets
grilled cheese sandwich
Any leftover from dinner
Snacks- are usually some kind of fruit, cereal bar, cheese and/or yogurt.
