With AC: I would put on a s/s onesie and a cotton sleepsack.
Without AC: I would use a s/s onesie and check him thruout the night and if necessary, put on a light cotton blanket.
Hope he feels better soon!!

Re: What do you put your DC to bed in if they have a high fever?
My DD has temperature issues lol. She has had febrile seizures in the past, and is feverish often. My ped said to put her to bed in her regular jammies because the fever can come and go and if they have a slight fever, and sweat and then their temp goes down, they could then get too cold. Obviously if your child has a temp of 103 and are sweating profusely, dont leave the blanket sleeper on. From what she said, I assumed she meant to put her to sleep in her reg stretchie type jammies. Not to strip her down to almost nothing. But I honestly think you need to go with your gut. I know when I was younger, as soon as I felt warm, mom would say 'lets get these socks and pants off of you'. She's an R.N. and no matter what, mom knew best lol.

Just a diaper - if you put clothes or blankets on them their fevers can spike - that is what my mom (used to be a nurse) and ped both recommended. If it is cold maybe a short sleeve onesie but a diaper is best.

We had this last week and we put Kaydyn to bed in her regular pjs (generally either a short sleeved shirt and pants or a long sleeved shirt and pants). I gave her tylenol before bed and put her AC on fan only so it wasn't freezing in her room but comfortable.
