i give mine pupperoni but i want to give him something more "nutritious"

I give Layla Mother Hubbard's bisquits. They have different varities, like veggie ones. They are baked and have pretty good ingredients. She especially likes the peanut butter ones. Trader Joe's also has peanut butter dog treats and they are very good as well. Well, Layla think so anyway. LOL!
Occasionally, I will give her piggy strips (cut strip from pigs ears  ). Not healthy at all, but she goes CRAZY over them!
