What glider are you getting?
Please post the glider you are registering for/getting and how much it costs (I am finding they are all different prices). If you have a picture please add... TIA! Have glider difficulty

I have been looking around too and its ridiculous how expensive some of them are!! I finally found one today that I think I'm gonna go for! Its from Babies R Us.

i have the shermag from babies r us, it stayed in great condition from DD (used it everyday for 1.5 years)now i'll use it again for this baby. it was $300 for chair and ottoman

We got a Little Castle chair. DH is really tall and it was the one that he was most comfortable in. Its super comfy to sit in now.

It took me a long time to decide on this one too. They all seemed so expensive but all my btdt mom friends said to get a good one since I would be spending so much time in it. I finally decided on the Shermag Oak Grande Glider With Bella Mocha Fabric and matching nursing ottoman. The glider was $450 and the ottoman was $200, but BRU was having a sale that if you bought the glider, you got the ottoman free. We saved $200 so I went for the $$$. Check BRU for when they have sales and specials!!! We also got the glider within a week. gl!

I got this one as well. Was $500 at BBB and I used the 20% off. It comes in probably 100+ patterns to choose from also.

Thanks girls! I have espresso furniture and I am having difficulty finding espresso with a beige cushion. I am trying to stay away from the Dutalier's bc they are so pricey! I have to go and check these out!

This is the one we have.
It's not the one we registered for (bc the one we registered for was just not available EVER) so my aunt and uncle took it upon themselves to pick this one out (which is similar to what we registered for) and we're really happy with it. It wasn't too bad to put together and it's super comfy.

I chose the Potterybarn Ecoglider for my first born and i love it. I love that it blends in with all my white slipcovered furniture.

This is what I have currently in DD's room.
While I like it and it's practical, I found it VERY difficult to sleep in when she was a newborn and would have marathon nursing sessions in the middle of the night.
For this baby, DH got me a cushy rocking/recliner style chair (I don't know the brand, sorry), with (okay, how lazy can one be.....a REMOTE control!) He hid the price from me, but I know it was

I had a hard time choosing a glider AND coming to grips with how much money they are. All of my BTDT mom friends said to get a glider that you can sleep in because you will spend so much time in it. I ended up getting this glider from BRU. They had a sale where if you bought the glider, you got the ottoman for free. The glider was $450 and the ottoman $200 - so I got them both for $450. Still alot of money, but it's really comfortable for both DH and I.

I am having a heck of a time w/ this too. I found one that I LOVE at Behrs...just so expensive. I've sat in so many and feel like they are all so upright..this one I like comes either in regular or reclining nad even the regular one lounges back a bit...I just need something comfortable since I will be sitting in it so long!
