What household chore do you actually enjoy?
Are there any household chores you enjoy?
Mine would have to be some yard maintenance tasks. Not all of them, but most of them that involve power tools....

I like to organize things. It doesn't really matter what.
I recently reorganized all of my makeup and brushes, and I liked doing it lol

Ugh! I hate outdoor maintenance. We skipped the gardeners this summer to save cash and oh boy do I miss them! This grass grows like CRAZY! lol! I tell my DH it's his job.
I like cleaning the kitchen. I don't know why but it's soothing and it's the room that is mostly used by me alone so I can really get it in orderly, tip top shape. I also just recently replaced my dishwasher which hadn't been working so that helps a WHOLE lot.
I don't mind general tidying and cleaning, I HATE laundry. Absolutely loathe it. Sorting the clothes and washing/drying is no big deal but ugh folding and putting them away- shoot me!

What household chore do you actually enjoy?
None of it. If it were up to me I’d eat takeout, wear disposable clothes and pave every bit of grass we have.

I love cleaning everything except the bathrooms and I LOVE organizing. I find it relaxing.

I don't LOVE any of the chores. But, I don't mind laundry or washing dishes. Unfortunately, it's just a part of life!

All of it? I love the satisfaction of cleaning something visibly dirty.
I don't love laundry because I have to go outside to do it, but the actual washing of clothes I don't mind.
The only other thing that bothers me is cleaning something that is too old or damaged & just won't come clean ( like my ancient bathtub)

What household chore do you actually enjoy?
Decluttering the basement, attic and garage. I start in the basement. I move the crap to the attic. The next week I declutter the attic and move things to the garage. After that, yop, I do the garage. Luckily I have a nice clean basement and attic to place everything!

Sweeping lol!!!
I don’t mind cleaning but I find that the clutter is difficult. Like vacuuming is fine but when there’s shoes and socks and toys all over, it makes the chore more difficult
Same with the bathroom-I love when it sparkles but moving stuff TO clean makes it take longer.
I loathe laundry. Not the DOING part but that it’s not over even after you do it.

What household chore do you actually enjoy?
I LOVE laundry. I am weirdo. In my laundry room right now is a bottle of Persil, a box of Tide powder, a container of oxi clean, biokleen stain spray, fels naptha, scent beads, and dryer balls. My DH constantly makes fun of me, and I know it's odd to love laundry. I just love the way they feel and smell afterwards, especially if I line dry them.

I enjoy them all except for putting laundry away.
And cleaning up after DH when he cooks. Especially if he fries anything - oil is all over the place.
When I cook - I clean as I go. DH is on a whole other level.
