What is/was your career?
I know there are a lot of teachers and others who work in the city, but what do you do? I love to hear what others do and are always looking for people to come and speak to me students!
I am a Literacy Coach/English teacher/A.P in training in a high school on the Upper West Side (DOE)

I was a catholic school teacher in Flushing for 6 years. I taught 3rd grade for 5 years and 2nd grade for 1 year.
Now I'm a SAHM and I also make some $$$ in other creative ways.

gave it up due to the hours and went back to school for Clinical Lab Sciences. Was just short of my degree when I decided to have Caden James...

CPA - was and am
I love being home with my son, but I know I will be a more effective mom to my DC with 2 FT jobs - one outside the house and one inside the house.
I'm working hard to have the best of both worlds (completely a personal choice)

I work overnight! I get to spend more time with my son and I get to work FT!

I am an attorney for the New York Stock Exchange (now known as FINRA). I prosecute brokers who fail to live up to their obligations and basically hurt their customers.
