I'm fascinated to read what everyone does, it's really very interesting! I was a Copy Editor for a publishing company. Now I'm a SAHM and make jewelry. Just finished a bridal party order!

Psychologist. Right now I do consultations on medical units in a hospital, but I am leaving my job in 4 weeks to work PT and will be consulting at nursing homes. Soon I will open a private practice and be able to cut back even more.

I was a Pharmaceutical Rep. I resigned in the first trimester of this pregnancy. I will def go back in a few years.
Before that, years before, I taught 5th grade in the city.

Finance mgr for a large consumer goods company FT (3 days in the office 2 days at home) I started a "work life balance" initative at my company and it seems since I went on maternity leave they made a formal policy  HOWEVER looking to go PT in a CPA firm for even more balance (I just can't get enough balance )

i am an MD specializing in psychiatry.
right now i am working full time, but in about a year i'll be able to scale back and work 4 days a week, so i'll be able to spend that extra time with DS. for me, that's going to be the best of both worlds

Assistant Buyer in Retail
Then
Project Manager in I.T. at large Financial Firm
then
temped for a bit as soon as I moved out here just to kill time (was in HR at a big LI company).
then
went for my Masters while I had 3 kids (to kill time again )
now
subbing, tutoring, and a few other things
(to kill time until a teaching job knocks on my door )
oh, and supposedly a SAHM while all of this is going on. so throw lots of playdates and fun stuff with the kids into the mix.

I'm a pharmacist. Even though I really don't like having to work FT, I am able to do it in 3 days, at night so I am pretty much home with DD for 5 full days a week. I think I've found a balance I can live with.

Is am an MD but I'm a resident so it's more than full time for now. I'm basically someone's b**ch for the next 20 months but who's counting...
Once life settles down I want to work part time (30+ hours) for a while, maybe have another bambino.

Yes, that really is my cabinet. All of my cabinets are like that. I listened to a seminar on "bugs" and got freaked out!! There are no longer any boxes or bags allowed in my kitchen!!
