What kind of doctor do I see?
I know this isn't parenting related but do I see a regular doctor for an umbilical hernia? After pregnancy my belly button is sticking out way too far...in fact, I think it got worse yesterday.

Re: What kind of doctor do I see?
I had this from my pregnancy with Ava and then it got even worse from having Brody.
First, go to your Primary Care Doctor. Then ,they can suggest a general surgeon. The surgeon told me, it is safe to live with, just ugly and uncomfortable. After you are sure that you are done having kids, you can get it repaired.
My cousin and friend just had it done. They put the hernia back in and put in mesh to keep it in place. No big scar, they do it laproscopically.
I had three hernias from my giant babies. I had a full Tummy Tuck to put my stomach muscle back together as well as to remove the extra skin. Insurance paid to repair the hernias.
Good Luck!

I would see your regular doctor first & see what they say. If it's not something they can handle I am sure they can recommend the right kind of specialist.

That's good to know. Yea, we're not sure about kid #3 yet... I just wanted to know if it was dangerous for me to be walking around like that.
