what should i serve company tonight?
i have no clue what to cook-i need something that can go from fridge to table in an hour that's impressive but still delicious

Chicken cordon blue - get thin cutlets, put a slice of ham and swiss. Roll 1/3 over, put a little honey mustard as glue, roll the other 1/3. Coat in honeymustard, roll in breadcrumbs seem side down and bake. Serve w/ burt broc.

Do you know if they like seafood? Fish is so fast to cook and prepare and just seems very elegant. I like seared cod with tomatoes and garlic. A side of sauteed spinach with a little olive oil and garlic and a squeeze of lemon is a nice green side.. and then some wild rice or rice pilaf can be the carb.
