Brinkley does alligator snaps. When I say "speak" instead of making noise, he opens his mouth and then snaps it shut. He also does it when he's taunting other dogs and wants them to play with him or chase him.

My dog Lucy "talks". She just makes weird like Chewbacca noises all the time. It's so funny, it's one of my favorite things about her! She also absolutely hates cameras. Any and all cameras. She just wants to chew on them!

My other dog, Irwin, hates spicey foods. If you try to give him something spicey he curls his lips up in this weird grimace and starts backing away and trying to get the smell out of his nose. It's so funny. I also have one of those aromatherapy heating pads for cramps. It smells god awful and Irwin hates it. He won't come NEAR me when I'm using it. On the other hand, Lucy LOVES it. She lays next to me and licks the heating pad. So weird. She also loves spicey foods though- well any food really.

Whenever we take the harness off of Kasey he runs right to the rug and starts rolling on his back, like he's so glad its off. He also watches TV. Its strange for us bc the other 2 have no interest.

Sadler has a stuff bear that he licks all of the time. He likes to hump his bed. He gets really into it. He flings it back and forth. DH sits there and laughs while saying "bad bed, your a bad bad bed"

Jackson doesnt do anything weird except, when walking he likes to put the leash in his mouth almost like he'se walking you. I think its cute.

Riker is very strange but I will just try to think of a few really good ones.

1) He stares. Sometimes I open my eyes in the morning and he is just staring at me next to my bed willing me to wake up. Guess it worked. He will also jump up on the couch while I am watching TV and just stare at me. (Think Eddie from Frasier.)

2) When I am watching a show on TV like the Dog Whisperer or It's me or the dog, and there is a squeaker on it, Riker will go get a toy and bring it to me. Every time.

3) When he is on the floor and you approach him, he immediately flips over on his back and wags his tail.

4) He pees on his opposite front leg frequently because he lifts his leg so high he almost topples over. (This is annoying and gross yet still strange.)

5) He LOVES ice. As soon as someone gets ice he runs to the ice machine as fast as possible and sits.

6) The sound of the whipped cream bottle gets him very happy because he loves whipped cream.

There is probably so much more but I can't think of them all now.

He barks everytime the door bell on Family Guy rings... yet he rarely even barks at OUR doorbell

He goes NUTS over fed ex or UPS trucks. He can hear them from a mile away and runs around in circles like a lunatic

A couple that lives close to us always walk their 2 huskies by our house everynight. He would bark at them all the time.. so now no matter where we are, no matter what we are doing, if you say "Huskies!" he will bark uncontrollably.

He can't sleep without a blanket over his head

He sits in front of the fireplace and cries until you put it on for him

He randomly jumps into my parents pool off of the diving board in the summer

I swear he understands english. Hes a funny little dog.

Toby loves to "huff" at you when you tell him no lol

Also when he drops something in his water dish and tried to get it, it sounds like he is blowing bubbles.

#4 reminds me of my dog- kind of. Irwin used to lift his leg while pooping. Well, I guess he got tired of holding his leg up while he poops, so now he backs up onto things, like the trunk of a tree and poops on it. He actually once pooped on my ILs coffee table.

And my dogs both loooooooooove ice. If I go to the freezer at all, they both sit under it waiting expectantly.

He falls asleep with just his front two paws on the couch...like he's in a stretched out standing position.

They all do something strange, don't they??

Logan - lays on his side and pushes himself off the wall under the bed when we go to sleep at night. Sometimes he can't get himself out from under the bed and we have to push him over on his side and drag him out by his paws.

Sam - is totally obsessed with racquet balls - he will drop it in his dish while he's eating so Logan or Zoey can't take it.

Zoey - will jump off the chair or out of her bed for no reason, snarl and bite either Sam or Logan in the face and then curl up and go back to sleep. We call it "don't wake up The Cracken time".

One of my dogs is afraid of the lawnmower noise, any noise really... the vacuum. If it's thundering, he will hide in the tub. I feel so bad for him when it's thundering out.

Darwin does so many strange things!!!

He doesn't bark, he yodels and makes "speaking" noises as if he's actually trying to say something.

If a piece of paper hits the floor and you don't grab it he will instantly shred it... seriously in a matter of seconds it will be gone.

He will literally eat anything (and I mean anything, glue sticks, fuzz, trouser socks, he ate one of my invisalign trays)... the one thing he won't eat... lettuce.

And he loves to sleep on his back!!!

ohmygosh all of these quirks are sooo cute, they are putting the biggest on my face!

quinn plays with his food. as in, everytime i put down his dry food in his bowl, he takes one kibble in a hurry, runs it out from the kitchen into the hallway in his mouth, puts it down, bats it back and forth with his paws, lunges at it, rolls over it on his back - he does this with AT LEAST one kibble (sometimes more) EVERY single time he is fed.

i have to think about ava.

Petunia talks. She basically howls to words and phrases that I say and it sounds exactly like it.

She also sits and poses for the camera.

It is hysterical. I love it!

OMG! I love this

Our Scarlette likes to growl at you and wag her tail when she wants to play. If you don't listen to her, she will actually grab a part of your shirt or pants and try to drag you towards her.

She will jump in the bath tub when you are taking a shower (she loveeeesssss water)

At the dog run, she will go to water bowls around and splash the water all over. Once she is satisfied she will roll on it Every time we go to the dog run she needs a bath

There are many more....but these are all I could think about right now

Thought of two more for Lucy- she's such a quirky dog!

She doesn't think she's a lap dog- she thinks she's a fox fur. She likes to climb up onto DH's shoulders while he's playing video games and drape herself over him like ... well like a fox fur.

She also likes to let me know when she's done eating/drinking by slamming her paws or nose down on her bowls until they flip over.

My puggle:

Watches TV and will bark every time she sees a dog. nothing else - no other animal but she will sit there and wait until one comes on (usually commercials)

She will push her bowl around telling us when she wants to eat. If you ignore her she'll tap her bowl then run over to you and stare then run back tap it anbd run back and stare

She smiles - I swear! Sometimes its creepy how big she smiles - looks like the joker

She will get into a frenzy at times and run full speed around the living room doing laps so fast it makes you dizzy to watch her




My puppy lab

Dont know her too well yet but she HATES the word no. When you say it she will jump up and bite into the air. Every time. So funny.

My pugs both watch TV and bark at all animals with 4 legs (dog, Cat, Cow, Horse...etc.) It could be in the background of the movie/show we are watching and it will catch their eye and they will go crazy.

Also, my younger pug (Abbey) really gets into movies or certain shows and we will call her name over and over again, and she is so tuned into the TV, she won't even listen. It's very cute.

My older pug (Bella) stands in between my legs when I'm blow drying my hair in the morning and putting my makeup on.

They both have to be in the bathroom every morning when I go in the shower. It gets a little crowded. LOL!!!
