What time do you put your 2yr old to sleep?

I put DD in around 8 but she rolls around until 9-9:30.
If i put her in earlier it's a full out battle so I try to wait a little but she may be overtired. Just wondering what other people do.
This is on the days she naps, most days she just plays in her crib an hour & never naps
Those days she's in earlier & falls asleep quicker but she's so cranky after 5 & fights bedtime because she's so overtired & miserable.

What time do you put your 2yr old to sleep?

DS is 2, he naps from about 12:30 - 3:30 and goes to bed around 7:30. He does fight nap sometimes lately (talks/sings for two hours) but then goes to bed around 6:30 on those occasions.

my little guy always naps from around 1-4, and always goes to bed around 9, 930

wakes up around 730

My twins are 2

They wake around 7:30-8am
They nap from around 1 - 3/4pm
Bedtime is 8:15, but they don't usually fall asleep until around 9ish.

They don't complain, whine, etc. they just hang out and mellow out from the day until they are ready to fall asleep ... much like an adult does

Wakes up around 6:30-7
Naps for 3 hours from about 1-1:30 until 4-4:30.
Our routine is bath, book, and bed around 9.

I'm seriously jealous of these 3 hour naps. Lol. DD used to nap for 2 hours around 2pm but she's stopped that in the past few weeks. She never napped 3 hours!

She wakes at 7ish and goes down at 8pm. On the wknds when we are running around I can tire her out for a nap sometimes. But since she hasn't been napping regularly she goes down at 8pm without issue and is out in about 10 min

He wakes up anywhere from 6:30-8:30
Naps from like 10-12
goes to bed at 9:30

She is 2.5. She pretty much goes in her crib close to 9 and not sure when she actually falls asleep. Some days quickly but lately she is fighting it. She has pretty much given up naps too and still doesn't go earlier. She also will go in her crib bc she is tired but rarely falls asleep - mostly plays. AS for wake up, Lately, she has be waking up earlier on her own - between 730-8 most days (sometimes earlier - I use to wake her at 830 - not sure what is with earlier) and not napping. She has been a crank pot!! I know from experience it is something she'll get use to and it takes time but not liking this crankiness from not napping.


Hard to adjust time because I have 3 kids and have a routine where she always went to bed the latest. I would like to adjust now that naps are done to a little earlier. 830 would be nice. I have to figure it out. Somehow after 7pm she gets her 2nd wind and isn't as cranky so I think that also makes putting her to bed earlier harder.

I am so jealous of these nappers you all have!! My DD stopped napping at 18 months

Anyway, DD is almost 2.5 and goes to bed at 8-8:30 and wakes up 6:30-7.

My DS is 2.5 and never really naps anymore.
Wakes up between 6:15-6:45, (When he takes a nap it's around 3:30-5:30pm) and won't go to bed till 10pm.
When he doesn't nap, he still wakes up same time, but goes to bed around 8pm.

My DS is almost 2 and naps most days but whether he naps or not he goes to bed between 830-9. I never put him in bed. he just falls asleep when he is ready.

My DD goes to bed at 7pm. When she naps, she will roll around for 45 minutes or so before falling asleep for the night. When she doesn't nap, she is out in 15 minutes tops. It seems like she is trying to give up the nap because she has only taken one in the past week. I keep trying, but she just rolls around talking to herself for 1.5 hours and never falls asleep.

Ds1 was in bed by 630
Ds2 is now limited to an hour nap and is in bed by 7

Goes to sleep 9-10pm, wakes up 7-8am. No naps but sleeps through the night soundly. Works for us since we can go out in the evenings if we want to.

Nap is around 12 and is usually about an hour and a half. Bedtime is usually around 7:30.

DD goes to bed around 10...I try and get her in to bed earlier but no matter what i do its always 10...

she wakes up between 7 and 8.

during the week she naps from like 11-1 or so and on weekends she tends to nap from like 2-4 or so...sometimes 3-5.

My DD will be 3 in December. She goes to bed between 7-7:30. Wakes about 7 am. She doesn't nap at all during the day.

Mine is 2.5 yrs. he goes to bed around 10 pm (his older siblings are fast asleep by the time he goes to bed!) and wakes up around 7 am. Then a 2hr. Nap in the afternoon.

I thought my kid was the only one who didn't nap, nice to know a lot of them don't (not nice for the parents though)
On the days she does nap I'm going to wake her by 3:30.

between 830 and 9pm. but she still naps for ~3 hours in the afternoon. She gets up between 630 and 730.

DD goes to bed at 8:30, she is up between 6:30 & 7 and naps from 1 to 3 or 2 to 4.

DS is 2.5 ( will be 3 in November). He goes to bed at 8:30, sleeps until 7:45/8 AM and takes a nap from about 1:30-3:30.
