Antibacterial soap 100% of the time.
And Purell.
DH is on chemo, the doctors said to use it.
Simple as that.

Re: What type of soap do you have at home?
Antibacterial Pump soap in the bathroom by the sink. Antibacterial liquid soap in the kitchen, pump. Ivory bar soap in the shower- I am highly allergic and have sensitive skin on my body- so the only thing to work for me is Ivory for my body.

Re: What type of soap do you have at home?
We have pump anti-bacterial. I worked for Bath and Body Works back in college and still have a TON! (those 5 for $10 sales got me every time!)

Many experts believe that eventually the practice of using antibacterial soaps is likely to have a devastating effect on human health.
The problem is that the more the bacteria are exposed to the stuff (triclosan, or whatever the chemical is that makes it "antibacterial"), the more likely they are to build up mutations to make themselves immune to its effects.
It's the same process by which so many bugs have become resistant to antibiotics. Bacterial infections that are resistant to antibiotics are really, really scary and can be fatal.
The beauty of it is, soap IS antibacterial all by itself, by its very nature. It doesn't need any "antibacterial" chemical additives. "Antibacterial soap" is simply a marketing ploy.
Sorry to rant, but this is something I feel pretty strongly about. (Obviously. )
YESSSSSSSSSSS. I am so mad that BBW doesn't make regular ole soap. Years and years and still noly ant-bacterial.

Re: What type of soap do you have at home?
BBW FOAM only in the bathrooms and dishsoap in the built in pump thing in the kitchen..dove sensitive bar soap in the shower..I just discovered that Method makes foam so when I run out of BBW, I might switch to that...the prices are comparable...plus..I think I need to find Big Lots if they are selling Method at a discount!

Re: What type of soap do you have at home?
Pump in the bathroom (non antibacterial). I also use a body wash in the shower. I keep bars of soap on hand in case I run out of liquid.
