What was total cost for bathroom remodel?
Just wondering what total expense was for bathroom remodels?

We're at Day 2 of our remodel now. We have a pretty small full bath - 8' x 5'. They demo'ed it down to the studs yesterday, moved the plumbing around, changed the electrical, and we're putting in brand new floors, tile walls, tub, toilet, vanity, sink and all new fixtures (towel holders, shelves, etc.). Everything was middle-of-the road in cost: not the most expensive stuff but we went for quality. Sink & vanity from Consumers, tile floor from Cancos, and pretty much everything else from Lowes / Home Depot. We budgeted for all the fixtures but didn't think about paying for sheetrock, electrical wires, copper pipes, cement, tile glue... all that stuff really adds up!
Total cost for labor and "stuff" will be between $6000 and $7000 because we got a good deal on labor.

We had a pretty big bathroom and went with double sinks, granite and kohler fixtures. Ours came out to $12K.

our estimate as of right now in order to do the bathroom remodel is 6-7K if we pay someone to do the labor on it otherwise if we do the labor we might add marble on the floor. For a 8 x 7 bathroom.

We did ours for about 8K with no labor costs.
The contractors we spoke with wanted 4-7K for labor and some supplies.
Our bath is 8x7 with a double vanity and linen closet (kraftmaid) granite counters, soaking tub (not whirlpool).

I did 2 bathrooms (1 with a bathtub and 1 with a tiled showed) for $11-$12K (everything included). Gut job with new windows and doors.

Half bath $2200 for labor and 3/4 bath $3000 labor. So far we only did the 1/2 bath and it was basic nothing fancy.

Total gut job for our smallish master bath was about $9K, for both labor and materials.

We just did our half bath/laundry room for about $3500 all in. DH did all the work himself. It is 7x11 and we already had the front loading wash and dryer.
We put in slate floor, wainscotting, wallpaper, restoration hardware fixtures, kohler toilet and a specialty ordered console sink.
I am really in love with it

my hubby is a plumber and handy so we have 0 labor costs...getting a hookup from a family member so tile redi shower pain will be bought at cost. it looks like we will come in around $3k for complete gut...new tile floors, tiled shower to ceiling and tiled shower floor, new vanity with granite counter top and all new plumbing fixtures and new toilet and lighting. DAMN I'M GOOD! LOL
TIP:
once you know what u want it pays to shop online first and then even double check with a manufacturer to see if they can beat the lowest online price.
I got a faucet that generally goes for $120-130...for $70 on ebay BRAND NEW! I searched craigslist and found an ad for clearance tiles from the manufacturers warehouse...they mailed me samples free of charge...found expensive looking shower tile at $4 a sf!
we originally thought we couldn't afford to replace the window...but now we might be able to because of savings in other areas.

For our half bath it was about $1,000. DH's friend did all the work so we just had to pay for the materials.
