What would you tell your younger self, if you could?

Me first: "You are not fat! Enjoy yourself."

(I am getting ready to go to the beach and I am squeezing my butt into a bikini that it shouldn't be in but, it's a wednesday at the beach, who am I gunna see?

I am running around looking for some kind of beach coverup and remembering me in in high school. I had a teeny tiny bikini with no supportive cups or full coverage bottoms and I wore a belly bracelet. A belly bracelet. I drew attention to my belly. But I still thought I was fat. I don't even think that belly bracelet would clasp now.)

Also: "Give a little more effort to your grades. You are smarter than you think."

Pay with cash

Wait on something for a month, if you still want it, then buy it

Re: What would you tell your younger self, if you could?

yeah the fat thing - I don't think I will ever see my HS weight (b/c honestly 10 pounds heavier is still thin to me now!) - it was just hard with the pre-pubesant girls at 80-95 pounds - at 5'7" I was never going to be that!

other than that, I would have liked to travel a tiny bit more (I did a lot, but could have done more), live in another city - besides college, I didn't do that until late 20's, and let stupid things people say roll off your back.

Re: What would you tell your younger self, if you could?

Alot of my younger self activities helped shape me into who I am today. I made lots of mistakes and learned alot of life lessons, I don't think I would change much. But if I had to give my younger self advice, I would make sure to take better care of myself, not smoke and live a healthy lifestyle.

Re: What would you tell your younger self, if you could?

stop worrying about what people will think of you.

take yourself seriously --- at least once in a while -- you dont always have to try to make people laugh.

enjoy the simple things in life. material things do NOT determine who you are.

be nice to people, even if they arent in your group of friends.

Totally.

And I would have added - Realize that not getting a period for over a year isn't a "happy" thing - it's a problem with your body that you should be aware of before you TTC later in life!

Re: What would you tell your younger self, if you could?

I actually would have told my younger self to join WW back in HS instead of after college....I wasted too many years being overweight and hating how I looked...I wasn't obese, but def. overweight and hated it.

DO NOT DATE ED!!!

Forget the full scholarship and go to a college that you want to go to - graduate on time.

She can't really hurt you.

You are not ugly, and you are not stupid.
