A little before his 1st birthday. I have a regular mat from Bed bath and Beyond and the faucet cover.
Mommy's who say their kids stand and walk in the tub ...... please be careful!! My friends DS just slipped and hit his chin and needed stitches and the plastic surgeon in the ER said it is really common for kids to fall in the tub even with a mat b/c its still slippery! He said that out of every 10 kids he stitches up he would guess about 7 or 8 of them fell in the tub!

Gosh - it was so long ago I dont' even remember! We had the baby tub in the bathtub from the start, so it was a natural transition.
Of course, she loves to stand and walk around in the tub - and even a bathmat doesn't prevent her from falling once in a while.
Last night was the first night she actually sat down in the tub. It was amazing.
