When did you stop feeling sore "down there" after giving birth?

I'm wondering when I will feel good enough to go to the gym or take a run.

I am 4 weeks postpartum and I am still sore and absolutely not up for a run of any kind... I had tearing though and another problem that is embarrassing to mention, so I know my situation is a little different...

I agree!

I had a VERY easy recovery and never really felt sore down there, but the little soreness/discomfort went away within a few days.

I had a big baby (22" and 8.5 lbs)... I felt pretty horendous for 2 weeks.... I felt bad for another 3 weeks... My inner thighs were sore (becuase the Dr. asked for my knees to go WAAAAAY back by my head while pushing) for at least 8 weeks post partum!
