When did you transition to skim or 2% milk
In the paperwork I got from the doctor, it said that at 2 years you can transition to skim OR 2%. When did you transition and to what?

My paperwork said that too - - but I still have her on whole milk at almost 3 yrs old bc she isnt the best eater, she could use the extra calories.

I switched to 2% when Ryan turned 2, and we still use it. He will drink 1% when we're out, and skim at Grandma's.

At age 2 we switched to 2% because that is what I drink. I don't think I would give her skim though.

Thanks, she does not eat great for me but good at the sitter. I think I may do 2%

Thanks, she does not eat great for me but good at the sitter. I think I may do 2%
I may switch her to 2% at age 3 (in June) we shall see. LOL.

I switched Marron to 2% at age 2. A few months later we were at the ped and they said I could go to 1%. She isn't overweight at all, but the doc said that there is no reason for her to need the extra fat/calores. So we went to 1% then and have been using it ever since.

I haven't discussed this with DD's ped yet, but I'm guessing we'll be the same over here-- we'll keep her on whole milk for as long as possible since she's a little one and not a great eater.
