When do you un-decorate?
When I was a kid, we put up our tree on December 16th (the day after my sister's birthday). Then, we took it down the day before we went back to school from Christmas vacation, which was around January 2nd.
I'd like to go back to that schedule! But, now usually put up the tree Thanksgiving weekend and take it down around January 6th, depending if it falls near the weekend. It's too much time, in my opinion.

Re: When do you un-decorate?
I still haven’t decorated .
Next year when I don’t have my kitchen/appliances in boxes all over the place instead of waiting four months for it to be installed, then I take it down after January 6th.

Re: When do you un-decorate?
I take it down by Dec 27 usually. DD birthday is very early January and I work between Christmas and her birthday. Try to make her birthday Christmas free and all about a birthday

That is funny.
Maybe you can decorate a tree for other holidays so you don't feel like you never had one for Christmas lol

I have had no tree before and I was fine. The cats, on the other hand, seemed to miss the tree…

Re: When do you un-decorate?
Usually down on the 27th. I work during the holidays and DD's birthday is Jan 2nd. I want her birthday to be all about her and not Christmas.
