How much time in advance do you need to book a photog?

Whenever you want. There are people who book in the first trimester and people who wait till closer to the end. The biggest thing is if you want someone specific. If you want a specific person and don't want them to get booked, you should book earlier. Some of the more popular ones can book up quickly! Good luck!

I booked right after we heard the heartbeat at 9 weeks. I knew who I wanted to use and I didn't want to miss out on using her.

I booked mine around 25 weeks. She said it was good timing but I am sure every photographer is different.

Some book up very early. I'm currently booked up until October (but am also taking August and September off as maternity leave)

I called the place I was most interested in and they luckily still had availability.
