When will houses be back on the market?

It is usually slow in the Winter but DH and I would like to see some houses in a particular area and like to know what time of the year, the market gets more active for either buying or selling.

Should we look soon or is to too early?

I could be wrong, but I think the realtor told my mom that people generally look more at the end of spring, so that they can be in by the time school starts.

never too soon to look, IMO! You never know what you may find, or what a deal you may be able to get!!

It can take forever to find the right home, so the sooner you look, the better. Also, seeing many homes helps narrow down what you want and don't want........my opinions on what I wanted changed often, and it was usually based on each house I would see.

now is a great time to look!

it's actually foolish to wait to the spring to put your home on the market- more competition

my phone has been ringing non-stop since the new year started

I see no reason to wait...and rates are so low still
