Enjoy your music now as when they get older you never get to hear what you want anymore (especially when they are old enough to sit in the front seat).

I generally use my iPod if not the radio, I'm careful of songs with 'questionable' lyrics both on the radio or my iPod, even though they are young, on need for that stuff. I don't think I could handle the 45 minute trip to my mom's with itsy bitsy spider, etc.

No kid music in our car. DS is obsessed with pop/dance music like Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, and his current fave Eminem. He's actually prefers it to kid music to the point that I wiped his kiddie MP3 player out (it was filled with kid songs) and filled it with that stuff. He doesnt like my music as much which is more pop/rock (Daughtry, DMB, etc.) I guess you could stay I listen to his stuff in the car

I was totally going to say this, my DD now has the controls :( and it's worse when it's her and her friends in the car, justin beiber(sp?) all the way

We listen to my music. DD listens to everything we listen to from Metallica to Eminem to Bob Marley to Frank Sinatra!

I have never once played children's music for them in the car I have like 2 or 3 CD's but only have played them at home. When we had satellite we listened to Howard. Now we talk or listen to radio/cd's

I usually put her Yo Gabba Gabba CD on...

I don't mind the music though...if I'm alone in the car, sometimes I start playing her CD and then I'm like, WAIT A SECOND! Then switch it LOL

I have a 3 yr old and a 14 month old and we always listen to my music.

Most of the time I listen to my music. I do have kids music CDs that we put on sometimes during long car rides.

99% of the time we get in the car and DD says:

"dinosaurs, please."



so we listen to freaking laurie berkner, we are the dinosaurs...all the time

but I have to say, I love when the radio is on and she tells me "mommy, I love this song." or she starts dancing and says "I shaking my booty."

The radio is the only thing I have left. At this point, DD can sing along too. She even asks me for specific songs.

Some songs may be somewhat inappropriate, but she has no idea.

Both. I have a CD of his music in the car. I will listen to the radio with him too, but will switch the station or put on his CD if a song comes on I don't want him to hear. Like he doesn't need to hear that eminem/rhiana song or any Lady Gaga song.

DD is still very young, but always my music. I plan on keeping it that way for the foreseeable future.

mostly my music on my iPod. Depending on her mood I might put on her Music Together cd. I played that a lot during the summer while she was going to class, but that's about it.

A little of both. If he is in a "mood" I put on his music and it cheers him right up. Sometimes I drop him off at daycare and I will ride along singing for a while before I realize that I am still listening to his CD

In my truck, it's always my music. DS loves Queen, and knows about AC/DC, VanHalen, Metallica, etc....

In DW's car, it's usually whatever station she has on. Top-40 type stuff.
