Where did you get your DC's big boy/girl room stuff from or ideas

We are redoing AJ's room to make it his big boy room. I need room decorating ideas. I am all over the place with things so before I order things I want some help.
He has a fairly large room. The walls are light blue with white chair rail molding along the room. He has a navy carpet.

I need full size bedding and wall decorations.

He likes fire trucks, police cars and any type of construction vechiles.

Anyone wanna help.

I got DS's at Land of Nod. LOVE it! I bought all of the accesories, etc. He got a solar system theme... so that doesn't help you, but some places to look:

I just ordered DD's from PBK.

This bedding is nice and not "themey" it may last longer and you can changes accessories accordingly.

DS has a Cars themed room right now b/c my mom and step-dad bought him a cards bed for Christmas 2 yrs ago. He is almost 4 and still loves it. I am hoping Cars2 buys me some more time!

Before the bed, I was going to get a set just like the PBK one posted. I figured I would adjust the accessories as I needed to.

I like to stay away from themes, since kids like something new every month. I get 99% of my kids bedding from restoration hardware baby & child

I did blue and tan walls, multicolored bed, navy curtains and transportation art.

Painted 3 walls BM Nantucket Fog and 1 wall Adobe Beige. Furniture is from JC Penny. Artwork is from etsy, ebay, and amazon.com. Bedding is pottery barn kids.
DS is 2 years old so we decorated with things he likes... planes, trucks, tractor, motorcycle, and the moon. But we tried not to make it too babyish so he can grow with it. My son LOVES his new room.

(we also changed the lights on the fan but took these pictures before we changed them, and some pics were taken before plane decal was put up above the bed)

I just asked DS what he wanted.... he was about 5 when he got is new room, so he picked the color, and he's picked the posters and wall clings.
