which transition tub do you recommend?
Ian has officially crawled out of his whale tub so I need a new one. Thing is this is our only bathtub so I need something that i can prop up when me and DH take a shower.

I used one of those lounge chair types that folds up when DS wasn't sitting up, but getting bigger. Put it in the bathtub and he just lays back. Then it folds up. Worked perfect Image Attachment(s):

This is what we have, it's awesome and fits under the sink!

Diana, he's 9 months right? That's when DH and I started bathing DS without anything, just in the big tub, and he did great!

yeah he is. im afraid to bathe him directly in the tub since he still has a motor delay, he's not very sturdy.
i tried that tub you guys posted and i thought it had a weird smell. plus ian's not sitting still anymore. grrr...i miss my immobile baby!

Re: which transition tub do you recommend?
I plan to just dump DS in the tub once he starts sitting up. He's already starting to thrust himself and turn out of the whale tub.

Can you shower with him? At 9 months DS walked out of the tub (and smashed his head on the toilet ) and from then on, he takes showers with DH.

We have been using this one since he was 1 month old. DS seems to like it.

We had the rubber ducky and we bought it at Target. Loved it.

us too. the infant tub i have is too small now. I stick him right in. i have a rubber mat in the shower now. I use the little bath kneel stool and just use that to lean over and hang out while DS is in the tub.

Re: which transition tub do you recommend?
How easy is the duck one to clean? I never even thought of a transition tub but will get one today as DS is totally outgrowing the infant tub AND he is trying to grab the sink faucet even though we try to put it as far from him as possible...I'm scared he will accidently turn on the hot water or slip trying to get it in the first place.

Re: which transition tub do you recommend?
the duck one is FANTASTIC.... we just had to buy that 'larger' tub - i think you posted as number 1, because Em's getting a TOUCH too big for the duck....
it quacks...em LOVED that feature. in fact - she still LOVES her duck tub. we occasionally will blow it up for her and she plays in it...she loves it THAT much!
