A plumber?

maintenance service technician.
try the store you bought it at. they may have a service available. or try one of the larger stores and see if they have services for non-contract clients.

I used mr appliance recently. I thought they were excellent. It's a franchise. Google them.

I used Sears recently, washing machine came with house and I didn't know where they purchased. Sears came next day and fixed it and offered a warranty through them if we wanted.

Personally I would stay way far away from Sears.
I've had issues with them no call/no showing in the past when I needed WM repairs.
They contract out and have no control over it.
I used Mike and Meyer corp when Sears never showed and he came right out. I think it's only a couple of them that work for the company.
Very reasonable too....like $150 or so.

Not sure where you are located but Tom from Well Done Appliances in Massapequa was great. Very reasonably priced -- he charges a house call fee, but if you use him for the repair, he deducts the house call fee from the cost. Great guy.

My washer did that. Turned out that it was just a simple plastic lever that told the washer that the door was closed. Check along the rim of the door and see where the lever is (or where it should be). If it's broken, that's the problem. If it's not broken, then it's probably more complicated.

Yeah they were, I set up an appointment online and they came the next day. My washer I would turn on and it would start to go and stopped after 30 seconds. They were able to fix it quickly. I think I paid between 150-200.
