I'm the last one at work to be without it. Even someone who had is house flooded in Amity Harbor has heat and power.

DH spoke to his cousin yesterday who lives in Commack. They have a tree that fell by their house that's hanging on power lines. Out of state workers were there yesterday finally starting to cut it down when LIPA came and told them stop and go somewhere else to work.

LIPA told my dad that they had no clue when it was going to be turned back on because they dont have enough man power to work on it.

ARGH!!!!!  There are so many trees down all around us and it doesn't look like any of them have been touched

Who's still without power from Sandy
No power in Levittown.
I am so angry, so frustrated and so cold.
This is absolutely ridiculous. I am constantly on the verge of tears.
ETA - This is day 10 for us. We lost before the storm even hit on Monday morning.

Cousin in Northport is still without (but, rest of my family living within a mile from them have it).
Cousin in Oyster Bay is still out as well (it's just her and her next door neighbor so it's going to be awhile).

Still out and I can practically time my daily melt down.
I want to cry that I see rain since I know no work will get done to day. We were told by tonight, but I know that's not the case now. I hate LIPA and their lack of clear information.

Lindenhurst - Out since Monday afternoon - I just dont get why at this point - I mean people in flooded area's have gotten power back - the bloock in front of me has power - but still NOTHING - I called LIPA again today and was told if its not on today it would be altleast a few weeks - Thats f*&king ridicolous...
I get LIPA is doing there best and what not but come on now...
I AM OVER IT !!!!

We are still out in Smithtown/Hauppauge. We lost power at 5:40 pm on Monday 10/29.
After a 30 min wait, I just spoke to a LIPA rep who said they cannot provide an estimate as to when I will be restored.
Immediate areas to our north, east and west have power. I asked her ahat is taking our area so long???
She said, downed power lines and trees down. UH, THANKS.
