Why Am I SO Picky? I Cannot Seem To Find A Winter Jacket For My Daughter That I Like...
Chloe is one years old. I want a WINTER jacket in a size 2T. I want something special, warm, but not too bulky so she can wear it in the car seat. Is this too much to ask for? I want different, not Baby Gap, Children's Place, etc.
I've even looked at Nordstroms, Bloomingdale's, etc and nothing is "catching" my eye.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated ladies!

Well, it's not really "different" since it's Old Navy and that's a common store, but I have this one for DD for this winter.
It's sherpa, so super warm, but thin enough for the carseat. It will definitely be warm enough for to/from the car or stores, etc. (I have a thicker coat for playing outside, etc...but it would be too bulky for the carseat).
They have it in brown too

we have a coat similar to that except it came from walmart  and i find that its a PITA with the carseat

Since I live in Suffolk and we rarely are out and about without a car, I really don't have a winter jacket for DS. I have several nice fleeces for the car, and then a snowsuit that I got at Kohls.
Since we don't use a jacket in the carseat,and well, boys selection sucks. I forego it

try century I got an adorable widgeon coat for her there, let me post a pic I took with my phone the other day...
They also have ADORABLE corky and co jackets at Denny's but I just didn't feel like spending an arm and a leg for a coat this year, once she starts getting a bit more use out of...
I also have a kate mack down jacket for her thats all ruffled its really cute I found it online!!!

When my kids were little I got a lot of their coats at Land's End. They are really durable, washed beautifully and I would get unisex colors since I had 3 under the age of 5 and they could be great hand-me-downs.

I saw a couple cute ones at Buy Buy Baby last week. One of them I thought was cute was this was one from RothsChild but in brown with pink trim. It didn't seem so heavy. I may get it.

Maybe they are not different enough for what you are looking for. I personally found them my favorite over what I was seeing in other stores...
I can't find most of them on the website, you would have to go in and see. Two I bought are not on there.
One is an A Line Baby Doll , Rothschild. This one looks much nicer in person. Pic doesn't do it justice.
One is an Ugg (this is on there)

THe other one is a soft furryish pink Widgeon, cant find the image online but it is so soft and dreamy!

Well if price isn't really a problem I saw a BEAUTIFUL one in Macy's by Ralph Lauren. Its not on-line I tried to see, they're only in the stores. They have them in different lengths.

I was also having a hard time finding anything that did it for me for DD. I ended up finding this Corky & Co coat and it looks really cute on her, is warm but not too thick:

OMG...why didn't I know about Kate Mack and BABY JACKETS? They're to die for! The only BIG problem is everything I see is out of stock. I wonder why? Did this company go out of buisness or something? I see no Kate Mack direct site! Damn, I am SO frustrated, I am in love and want some of these!

You'll also love widgeon, Chels wore it today, they look just like Corky and Co coats (which they have at Denny's) and are ADORABLE!!!
