Your mom told me she said this and I was in UTTER DISBELIEF!!
You have a lot more going for you than she does (happy relationship with DH and a great future to look forward to- where there WILL BE a baby)
Please try not to let her stress you....

as for your SIL, I can't believe no one else told her to shut up, and you're such a good person for not throwing her overboard or slipping hemlock into her drink! I can't imagine how someone could be so insensitive...

I am so sorry for your loss.
I'm a little upset that your DH didn't say something to her for you. The comment was wrong! You DO have amazing strength for not knocking her on her block.

DH probably didn't hear it, and if he did, he's an idiot too, he doesn't think like we do......
I am just glad I don't have to see her for a while.....I am thisclose to telling DH how I feel about her.....

SO many people in general are so wrapped up in themselves that it just shocks me

Also, as some of you know, 2 days before we left I had a miscarriage.
So, why is it that while we were on vacation, must I be told by SIL and her husband, MORE THAN ONCE, "wait until you have kids, you'll see what it's like!" with a bunch of sarcasm added....
I didn't say anything and everyone else was quiet....
You should have said something. I can understand if you didn't want to say it while on the cruise, but maybe you should say something now. Maybe your DH should say something. I don't know - it just seem terribly rude.

Wow...You are a much bigger person than me because I would have retorted with something nasty, like "are you that self absorbed that you don't realize that what your saying is completely insensitive? My current situation is hard enough to deal with without the added reminders you keep rudely dishing.. but thanks for the info, i'll be sure to try and keep that in mind since it's coming from the "mother of the year and all"...

I had a few insensitive comments when I had an m/c as well - in fact, I lost a friend over one of them. I can't believe how insensitive she was - I'm amazed you didn't push her over the boat!

I would have beaten the ever living piss out of her. Then asked who would be next in line. Anyone that stands around and doesn't put her in her place after saying something so inappropriate deserves a slap or two. Two days after a MC and nothing was done?!?!? That is unbelievable!

All I say is to echo the sentiments that you are a **MUCH** more mature person than I am. I may even have let one comment slide as a "she has foot in mouth" disease. After repeated comments....forget it.
