why won't she sleep in her crib

For the past 6 days DD will not sleep in her cib.

She will take her last bottle fall asleep at 8 go down and then wake up an hour later at 9 screaming her head off.

I get her i rock her to sleep and i wait 20 or till an hour so she is in a deep sleep.
I put her down as soon as i put her down she wakes up looks at me starts to cry.
I rub her back shh her.
she still crys.

so i pick her rock her again. Once in a blue moon she will go down.

me n dh are fighting cause of her not sleeping she is sleeping in our bed so we can get sleep atleast.

but she has to touch our face lean on us. sometimes she beats us lol she hits hard lol.

We let her stay in there for like an hour usally she will be sleeping and then we put her in the crib sometimes she stay and sometimes she wakes up.

It is take a toll on us.

Is there any solution to it.
I don't know what to do anymore. Is she teething what could it be.

Re: why won't she sleep in her crib

How old is DD? If she 5 months plus she needs to learn how to get to sleep on her own now. I rocked my DD to sleep for a LONg time and I now have a blow up mattress on the floor in her room because she will only go to sleep with me in the room but when shes out thats it.. Stop rocking her try CIO, I never did it but it works wonders for some children. For me it made DD afraid of the crib..

Re: why won't she sleep in her crib

My DD will often times cry a bit before falling asleep, even after I rock her to complete sleepiness.

I think she is old enough to try to let her learn to fall asleep on her own. Try letting her cry for a few minutes- most likely she will fall asleep. It stinks the first few nights but she will get the hang of it.Chat Icon
