At 6 weeks, no I woudn't. However, one of my best friends recently bought a boat with her fiance and they invited us on for the 4th of July. DS will be just about 14 months then and we are going. I think he is going to have a great time!! It's not about being selfish- if I didn't think DS would have fun and be safe, we would not be going.

As a boat owner, I would have no problem with it. However, so long as both you and your DH are uncomfortable with it, you shouldn't go. I am only just getting comfortable with bringing DS on the boat. It's a lot of responsibility!
