Re: Would you buy a floor sample crib?
I would and did. We needed a 2nd crib for my parents' house where our DS is M-F and we found a floor sample we loved at BBB. We needed a crib sooner rather than later and it was a perfect option. The crib had one scratch, that's it. There was a 2nd floor model of the same crib that had been really beat up but the salesperson told us ours had just been brought out the night before.
It had to be taken apart to be delivered and then they put it together again.
I love the crib and feel like we got really lucky and a great deal (i was also able to use my 20% coupon )
If you love the crib, then go for it. Just check it for any damage.

Re: Would you buy a floor sample crib?
I was the manager at Baby Depot.
I saw grown men laying across the handrail trying to see if it would collapse. Then they would try and step on the bottom of the handrail to get it to collapse. All because they couldn't figure out the system. I know they don't do dropside anymore, but I know HOW beat up they get.
People put their toddlers in their and let them jump up and down.
I would not buy a floor sample.
