I am pretty sure they told me MMR at 12 months.
not sure they would give it to him a week before (not sure I want them to) and I can't change the date of the wedding, even as persuasive as I can be 
oh fiddlesticks.

Many vaccines they WILL give earlier as protection is the most important thing.

Jess, call your ped and talk to them. The reaction usually falls within 7-15 days so you want him to have the shot about two weeks prior to leaving.
I WOULD NOT go to Spain without him getting the MMR

Reschedule - my girls never had a reaction to anything EXCEPT the MMR. It can be a scary reaction, too - Alex had a scary rash for a few days with a fever. As a second mom, I wouldn't be worried, but if I were a first-time mom, it might rattle me...
ETA - I would schedule it for 3 weeks before the trip

just a little note of advice here....
be careful moving appt up. my insurance co won't cover wellcare visits before their bdays.
imagine??
i would hate to see you get a surprise bill ontop of travel money spent.

my inital reaction is no.
BUT, how has he handled other shots? If he gets a fever normally, I'd push it back until after the trip.
